Q. Who are we?
A. CLC Finance is Hamsard 3225 Ltd trading as CLC Finance.  CLC was set up in the 1960’s by the Grandfather of one of our current Board Members .

We offer personal loans and high street vouchers to a customer base who either prefer to deal with us for reasons such as:

  • We deal with people in their own homes through a personal, weekly collection services
  • We offer loans to people who, for various reasons, may find it difficult to obtain a loan from their bank or building society.

We aim to treat all of our customers fairly and we offer loans at a fixed rate. Our customers always know what their repayments are which allows them to keep to a budget.

 

Q. Does it matter if I have CCJ’s on my credit file?
A. Not necessarily. We aim to help everyone.  As part of the application process we do complete a credit search to assess your suitability for the loan products that we offer.

 

Q. Do you charge any upfront fee’s
A. No.  All of our charges are included within the agreed weekly repayments.

 

Q. How do I contact the customer service team?

Q. When can I take out another loan?
A. As an existing customer you may be eligible to take out additional loans with us subject to approval.  If you would like to apply you should talk to your agent who will take you through your options.

 

Q. What happens if I miss a payment?
A. You will not be charged but you should contact your agent to talk about how to avoid this in the future.  If you miss payments frequently our area manager will make contact with you to try and establish any problems and work out a solution with you

 

Q. What is an affordability assessment?
A. It is a series of checks carried out by our agents when they visit you to discuss a loan.  It is important that we do this to ensure the loan is right for you. You will need to provide information about your financial position.
